Our 5 star
gold award guest accommodation is set in the heart of the unspoilt English countryside on
a 260 acre working farm in a village location just outside the market
town of Pershore, making it an ideal retreat to unwind and relax. The
area is the perfect location for walking on the nearby Bredon or Malvern
Hills, fishing on the local River Avon or shopping in the Regency town
of Cheltenham.
Lower End House is located a short stroll away from
Eckington Manor Cookery
School
just across the courtyard and is believed to be one of the oldest houses
in Worcestershire. This lovely period house is full of character and has
been renovated with the highest attention to detail and style to offer
five individual and unique en-suite bedrooms with today’s modern luxuries. The bathrooms have been beautifully appointed
using a range of products from Fired Earth. There are three bedrooms featuring
either double or twin beds and two rooms with single
beds. The single rooms share a large en-suite bathroom.
We want to provide the very best and
our emphasis is on quality...from the large comfy antique leather sofas
and welcoming wood burning stoves throughout the downstairs to the mouth
watering home cooked breakfasts which includes home-made muesli, freshly
squeezed orange juice, home cured bacon, Eckington Manor Gloucester olde
spot sausage, home-made bread, preserves, marmalade and local honey to our fresh farm eggs.
Lower End House is licensed and non smoking.
We offer bed and
breakfast only, although we are happy to provide a variety of supper
trays by prior arrangement, which includes some of our home-produced
produce. Pre-organised dinner for exclusive use and
corporate groups can be arranged.
We are happy to prepare hampers and packed lunches if guests are heading
out and about into the countryside.
Guests are served and can purchase
drinks each evening from the well stocked honesty bar and wine cellar or help
themselves to complimentary tea and coffee in their rooms. No dogs
allowed.
